Well, there's more good news on the General Hospital-front this week, and I'm afraid this recent wealth of positivity is so unfamiliar that I'm ill-equipped to process it. Apparently Ron Carlivati, much-heralded head writer of One Life to Live, will be joining General Hospital's writing staff after OLTL goes off the air in Jan 2012.
I hate to seem like a vulture picking over the bones of a freshly deceased fellow-soap, but since I lack the power to change the fate of OLTL, I'm simply going to be grateful that General Hospital has gotten a brief reprieve (and a talented writer).
Carlivati was thought to be largely responsible for the up-swing in quality of OLTL the past few years, so hopefully he will contribute more of the same to General Hospital.
Hey, as long as I'm not picking over the bones, any chance we can get some Erika Slezak action in Port Charles next year?
Perhaps a little Bo and Nora?
I don't want to be greedy, it's just that things so rarely go my way that I'm at a loss as to how to cope with this unexpected turn of events - - for now, I've decided to go with dance happily
and periodically scan the horizon for pigs.
Todd Manning and Carly Jax or Blair Manning and Jason Morgan - I would tune in for that...

Vicky, Bo and Nora coming to Port Charles would be fantastic. Also John McBain becoming Commissioner of Police in Port Charles, at least he does things by the book, unlike Mac Scorpio.

It would be very cool for them to end OLTL with one or more characters making their way to PC.... and I am very pleased to read that OLTL writer will be writing for GH. Its hard to believe that GH might have stories that actually connect and involve multiple characters on the canvas.... now that is a *shocking* headline for ABC magazine.
