I am currently only part of the way through my Sunday afternoon General Hospital-marathon/Easter wine-tasting extravaganza (my life is thrilling, I know), but I felt compelled to pause for a moment to savor the lovely scenes (all 2.5 seconds worth of them) that took place between Jax and Alexis this past Wednesday. {Please pardon the preceding oddly meandering run-on sentence (and also this one), did I mention that I've been tasting wine?}
Jax: Listen to me, I cannot let Carly have primary custody of Josslyn.
Alexis: No, you can't, nor should you, but she's going to put up a fight.
Jax: Well, I would like to avoid a nasty custody battle.
Alexis: And I would like to look like Angelina Jolie, but that's not going to happen.
[Jax chuckles]
Alexis: You know what? Truthfully, her devotion to her kids is her only redeeming quality.
Jax: That's why I'm hoping Carly might be reasonable. {Editor's note:
Jax's sense of humor is one of his finest qualities}
Alexis: And I'm hoping to marry Colin Firth. Not gonna happen. {Ed note: excellent taste in hollywood-heartthrobs, Alexis
}
Jax: You need to help me, you gotta make sure that Josslyn stays with me.
I love these two almost as much as I love hearing Carly being discussed with the disdain that she has so richly earned over the past decade or so.
Why don't Alexis and Jax share more scenes? Nancy Lee Grahn and Ingo Rademacher are effortlessly wonderful together.
Would it be too much to hope for a romance, once he's free of Carly? (Don't answer that, it wasn't a serious question. I'm not that drunk)
And another thing, are they moving toward writing Jax off the show? Because, he has been suspiciously absent the past few months.
I swear, the prejudice that the head-writer has against all non-mob characters and his stalwart refusal to invest in anything that accidentally works in spite of his best efforts, is so flippin' frustrating that I could scream . . . . or drink.
I choose drink
I agree,Alexis and Jax make a cute, funny couple and I'd like to see more of them. Remember when they were married? It was too funny! Alexis always refers to Jax as her favorite husband.

The writers at GH don't know how to write decent stories. That has been apparent for quite some time. The only thing they know or care about is the mob. If I wanted to see the mob 24/7 I would watch reruns of "The Sopranos".
They have decimated this soap. It was once very enjoyable to watch the writers told stories about the Hospital and the family and friends who worked there. You saw all the cast not a select few. Family and friends interacted all the time holidays, birthdays, weddings, and funerals were celebrated you felt you were part of a family. Now I only watch when my favorites are on and I turn GH off when they are not on. I can't bear to watch the crab that it has turned into.
