Several weeks ago, upon hearing that Martha Byrne's short-term stint on General Hospital was coming to a close, I encouraged viewers to give their opinion of her storyline.
In that poll, 63% of voters indicated that Martha Byrne's guest stint was not worthwhile because it only served to remind the audience not to get their hopes up for "medical" stories on General Hospital.
Now it appears as though I may have encouraged voting pre-maturely.
Within the last 3 days, the following events took place:
Andrea discovered that Edward could place her at the Metrocourt on the day of Brianna's murder, and also that he had a heart condition.
So naturally, she poisoned his martini
But then, Edward spilled the poisoned martini and Andrea was annoyed (and wet)
So Andrea changed her clothes and poisoned another martini
But then Monica dumped it out, and Andrea briefly considered poisoning her martini as well.
And finally, (when she was dangerously close to running out of Digitalis) Andrea practically screamed just drink the damn martini Edward!!!
So Edward drank the third poisioned martini
And then Edward had a heart attack
And mowed Andrea down with his Lincoln towncar.
The End
In light of these most recent events, I suggest a re-vote.
It will be interesting to see if a few days truly makes a difference in audience opinion.

I thought the last few days of Martha Byrne were (intentionally?) campy-hilarious. And now it can come out that she was to blame for a whole slew of things people have been held responsible for lately...
