The entry otherwise known as: they can't possibly be paying her enough for this crap!
I have been watching Kimberly McCullough play Robin Scorpio since I was sixteen and she was sixteen. (Wow, it makes me feel like an underachiever when I realize that she and I are the same age) I may have missed the beginning of the Robin and Stone love-story, but I watched his tragic death and the aftermath live, and she was brilliant.
Kimberly McCullough remains to this day, an amazingly talented actress. No matter how ridiculous the writing, she and Jason Thompson always do a remarkable job of making the unbelievable (or the repetitive) seem completely within the realm of possibility.
As a viewer, watching a completely outrageous or out-of-character scene or storyline, I often find myself wondering what the actors were thinking when they opened their script that day and read whatever ridiculousness they were expected to sell during that particular episode.
Just for shiggles, I thought I would put together a little photo-timeline of what I imagine Kimberly McCullough might have been thinking during key moments of her recent "post-partum-depression" storyline.
Having just come off of an almost flawless soap-opera wedding(two of them, actually), and being informed that a "post-partum-depression" story was in the works . . .
She's thinking "oh good, socially relevant and dramatic and soap-y - - what a great way to educate and entertain at the same time".
The Honeymoon was over a few short weeks later when she gets the script for Robin's part in the toxic balls fiasco . . .
Emma will be getting a high fever while home alone with Robin, so Robin will:
a.) drive out into a blizzard with her sick baby
b.) leave their stranded vehicle to trudge through hip-deep snow in freezing temperatures with the infant
and
c.) put Emma in a tree for safe-keeping
(I'm going to let Tristan speak for Kim on this one)
Next, Robin forgets Emma at a diner:
Finally, Robin runs away from home to Rochester, creates a false identity for herself, and kisses a stubbly carpenter:
It was at this point that Kimberly McCullough started drinking heavily and popping Xanax like tic-tacs.
Oh wait - - that was me

Love the add of screen caps for extra dramatic and proof of Robin's storyline awfulness. Will the madness ever end?
How is Twilight coming? ; )

LOL, too funny. I really do love KMC and I'm sure she is doing an amazing job with she has to work with but I'm so over this storyline.

LOL, nicely done. This story is ridiculous, and I do wonder what she thinks about it.

Nicely done! It seems even funnier when you see it all written out in words like this! Hope Robin pulls through!
