All the way back in July, shortly after the travesty that was The Daytime Emmys, I began my quest to take over ABC Daytime, in earnest. The Chuckie Awards were born out of necessity, out of a need to make sense in a soap-world filled with voters who are clearly on crack.
The Chuckie Awards originally included categories such as "favorite scenery chewer" and "most desired break-up" (in which Sonny and Kate barely edged out Guza and Frons for the win) as well as "best use of a dead character" and "outstanding villain" (which Bob Guza won by a landslide).
Now, three months later, I find myself viewing the potential of the Chuckie Awards in a whole new light - - what if there were actually positive things to say about a soap opera? What if there were sincere accolades that needed to be given out for quality within the genre?
Well, you wouldn't be watching General Hospital if that were the case, but you could be watching the second season of Night Shift.
So, as we bring to a close this surprising (in a good way, for a change) season of soap, let's weigh-in on the best of the best from Night Shift 2.
Who were your favorite characters?
What storyline kept you glued to the edge of your seat?
And more importantly, how do we get Sri Rao elected President?
Nightshift has been great..... but compared to GH anything HAS to be better, lol. Loved seeing everyone in the finale.

Let me see. My fav characters were Robin, Patrick, Robert, Uncle Mac, Anna and the 80's crew. Epiphany gets honorable mention cause this is a completely different, nicer character on NS2 opposed to GH or that 1st awful season of NS. Storyline that kept me watching: well the first epi we saw a different Scrubs, more patient, mature with each other and Robin sitting on Patrick's lap scene made me a believer! And Robert's story. Tell Sri to please forego the executive office and write all seasons of NS!!!
