I loved this exchange today. First of all, we don't get nearly enough Nikolas/Alexis scenes, and when we do, they are never this emotionally charged or genuinely funny.
Appalled at the notion that Alexis is sleeping with Jerry Jacks, Nikolas has just finished listing off the numerous crimes against humanity that Jerry has commited during his brief stay in Port Charles.
Alexis: You're right, he's an awful person, but he did all those things before he re-united with Jax.
Nikolas: Oh great, Jax saved him, I feel so much better now, thank you
Alexis (uncertainly): I see a different side to Jerry?
Nikolas: Of course you do - the mantra of every person who's ever been in a destructive relationship. And no wonder you know it by heart, because like me, you're a Cassadine - you grew up with insanity and terror. But you don't have to bring it into your life!
Alexis: For God's sake Nikolas, I'm not trying to save him - he's well beyond redemption. it's not like I'm in love with him!
Nikolas: Then why are you wasting your time?
Alexis: I am a single, working mother with two small children at home that people are trying to kill - I'm under a lot of stress. Do you have any idea how long it's been since I've gotten any...
{Nikolas starts to choke in the background}
Alexis: .....flowers to my office? Don't I deserve a little somethin' somethin' every now and then?
